John - I'll check with my bank, but (like currency) I know that there is usually a minimum fee when converting travellers cheques or cash back into Sterling. I don't have a problem with US cash as I travel to the US at least twice a year and can spend it, so maybe I could accept travllers cheques if I can then use them in the US. My only question though is that I thought there was some sort of identification on travellers cheques to stop them being used by someone else if they are lost - would this prevent me from using/cashing a travellers cheque purchased by someone else?
Thanks for the info - I'll see what my bank says. Jason
