The thread I'm reading here starts with a post about acts committed by an identifiable group of people, not a thought.

bin Laden is an arab Muslim extremist who declared war on the USA years ago. The deeds that have been committed by his soldiers are a jihad, a holy war. Given that the war we are fighting in an attempt to defend freedom is being waged on the other side based on the enemy's interpretation of their religion, to leave that factor (their religion) out of trying to identify the enemy would be both foolish and fatal.
For a little balance, I volunteer to provide continuous scrutiny and close surveillance of the Swedish Bikini Team for the remainder of the war, just in case some of those people "who don't look like terrorists" just might actually be terrorists.
