Ebay permits a seller to cancel any and all bids without any reason and to end an auction early. It is wrong, we all know that except in exceptional circumstances such as the item is lost or destroyed, the seller shouldn't be permitted to withdraw the auction after bids have been placed. But Ebay doesn't care.
