On the way to the convention I discovered that I had a pen knife in my pocket after I got thru the metal detector. I was surprised that it got thru. On the way back it was in my pocket again and the other pocket had a silver strike in it along with my aluminum asthma inhaler and still didn't set off the alarms. I wondered just how safe we were on that trip.
