If the toke is a slug, the materiel should be relatively soft. You would probably be able to scratch it with your fingernail.
What makes me suspicious is the uneven edges and uneven wear.
There are a few high spots along the top of the lettering while the rest is obviously worn.
The edge is uneven and none of the remaining features appear to be sharp.
