them apart is to look at the alignment of the words "Colorado Belle" to the inserts. V3408 is always aligned with letter "C" just under the blue inset. V2300 always aligns with the letter "a" under the blue insert.

I suspect that there are also some differences in the CIC's, but those are harder to detect with the naked eye, and can sometimes be chalked off to differences in the life of the die. But the alignment of the casino name to the inlays is fast and consistent.

I believe V3408 to be the earlier issue.
