On July 30th they announced that they will begin a cruise-ferry service from the Port of Tampa to the Yucatan Peninsula in late November. Travelers will sail to Cancun's Punta Venado Marine Terminal as well as Puerto Progreso. This service, the Yucatan Express, as it is called, can accommodate 1,130 passengers and up to 220 cars. The twice weekly voyage will take about 36 hours.
