Yes, I've seen the posts but have never seen one of the chips in person. My "we", by the way, referred to the chip collecting population in general, by which TCR is intended to be used.
My contention was simply that since this is not a particularly valuable chip to begin with, an additional entry for a cancelled version would be extraneous. Generally, in both TCR and C&W, cancellations are listed as separate entries only where values are impacted... I can't recall seeing an entry such as would be dictated by this chip.
I do feel that if the cancelled chip were to be shown to have another use outside of the casino of origin it would stand alone as a separate collectible, but if it were just an internally cancelled chip it would of less interest, as the uncancelled version is readily available at a reasonable price point (eg: would you buy a drilled Mandalay Bay chip at much over face, or consider it to be a collectible variation?... same concept.)
