A guy I know stayed at NY NY recently and played mostly 3 card poker($10 and up bets). The hotel comped all his meals and the room charge, but he still had to pay for phone calls and the ubiquitous "energy surcharge." I wouldn't worry too much about coaster noise...if you want to avoid noisy rooms, stay away from anything downtown that overlooks the Fremont Street experience...that is really annoying!!!
