It seems to me that all it would take is a phone call to Bill Akeman and ask him to release all rights to the club logo and put it in writing ... and have the Club Officer who lives in Las Vegas pick up his signed statement directly from Bill.

If Bill does not grant the club's request, then I agree a call for a new logo to be adopted should be made in the way of a contest. My lingering question is ... has any club officer contacted Bill about this issue since it has been raised?

There has been plenty of discussion on this issue over the past couple of months... it's time to put it behind us.

My mixed response to this thread is posted on the club message board ... where I believe this entire discussion should be held since it pertains to club members only.
