This post really has nothing to do with you. I am going to use it to "vent" about something that really irritates the Shi.. out of me .

Tha Las Vegas area is divided into three towns. Las Vegas, North Las Vegas and Henderson. There is no town named Summerlin or Green Valley or Seven Hills, or Spring Valley or.......any other name "they" wish to convey to those who read our papers but do not live here.

Why politicians place names upon specific areas is beyond me. Those folk who live in Green Valley (forgive me Andy ) REALLY live in Henderson. Henderson is Henderson is Henderson!!!! There are no suburbs in Las Vegas or in Henderson or in North Las Vegas. It is geographically not feasible to have suburbs - too small! You can call an apple an orange but it will not change what it really is.

the article's headline should have read:
STATIONS CASINO TO BUILD IN NORTHWEST LAS VEGAS.

Thanks for letting me vent about a "pet" irritation of mine.
