Charles; If the casino chips you are recommending with the club logo are not associated with a club event or chapter event, what is the purpose of having such a chip issued in the first place? Isn't that "taking advantage of chip collectors"? We have enough pogs being issued now. A pog with the club logo would not be an improvement.... it would just become another pog.

Do the other Club Logo Usage Committee members feel the same way on this issue as you do?

I'm more in favor of leaving each individual case being reviewed by the Board and let them make a decision whether issuing a chip with the club logo benefits the organization or not ... rather than giving blanket approval before hand.... and then debating the merits after the chip has been issued.

The decision on the Reno chip has been made. I can live with the Board's 4-1 approval vote ... but I would hope that as a result of all the discussion and debate over this issue, that they will give some serious consideration and discussion to any similar request(s) that may come before them in the future before approving such a logo usage request for a privately sponsored, commercial event.
