"THE issue is protecting the Club from LIABILITY! Our convention contract has a clause that all dealers must sign that they 'shall indemnify and hold harmless CC & GTCC, Inc., it's officers, agents and all volunteers.'"
Did the casinos that issued the club chips for the last convention sign also sign such an agreement? I doubt it. If the Reno Hilton chip welcoming CC & GTCC members could result in a liability lawsuit filed against the club for a private chip show being held at the Circus Circus, our legal system is more screwed up than I could have ever imagined.
Where would the liability be placed? Where would something have to happen to warrant suit? At the Hilton? No chip show there. At the Circus Circus? No chips issued.
In a pinch, what liability? and where?
