Hi !
The chip pictures below is the Bonanza Club $ 5 Casino Chip. It was used in Las Vegas in the 1950's. So It has a lot of interesting history with it. Its a nice H.C.E. Mold Casino chip and has a very nice colorful inlay chip.
That chip use to sell for $225
A year ago I found less than 2 boxes of that chip. And I but them out for $25 per chip. For $25 that is probably one of the most beautiful 1950's vegas casino chips that you can buy.
Its been a year and I still haven't sold them out. I still have about 60 of them left over. And I wholesaled some to another dealer.
Now if there would be a Le $5 Casino Chip and only a couple hundred out there and the dealers sell it for $25 it probably be sold out within a couple of hours.
Like I said Le's are growing and growing. The only thing is that some people get mad because they can not collect them all because of their financial status. But when you think about it. Can you ever afford to collect all Obsoletes. How many can afford too buy a Sands $25 casino chip for $19,500. I offered one collector that for the chip and he turned it town he rather keeps it.
There are litteraly hundreds of chips that go go for over $500 each if you can get em.
I found collecting is more fun if you collect what you like. I don't specialize in anything. So I always find something no matter how much spending money I have.
Best Regards
Rene
