I started collecting any and all--- Then I was limited by my bankroll and specialized in $1 chips. I am now being limited by the amount of time I can devote so I have eliminated certain states to focus on others. I know that Cruise ship and Indian Casinos have a special appeal to me and that they will be the next area of specialization--- limiting the size of that elephant. I still have matches, ashtrays, cards, roomkeys, and other denomination chips/tokens. All of these eventually will find new homes as I start to find the limits of storage space and or spouse's patience.

As far as knowledge in that area, I think this is very dependent on the amount of energy and curiousity that collector has about his
specialty. I think any collector picks up stories/facts when they are out and about in their acquistion mode. So yes, they do have a special knowledge, but it is like school. You only gain more by the amount of time and effort you put into it. Sorry for the lenght of this. Jeff R-5463
