My point was that the PR types are trying to mask this as doing a favor for the remaining dealers by letting them work full time, when the actual prime motivation is the reduction of overhead costs. It is far cheaper to work 80 people full time (or even overtime) than it is to work 100 people at 80%.

I certainly do not question the responsibility of Management to run an efficient operation.
