But BTW: there are no wrong answers here...
AM just curious how people view their collections and the collections of others.
My answer is:
For ME - my chips fall into 3 catagories:
Chips I acquire and are in my collection (because I'll collect anything )
Chips I "collect" (which means I pursue them)
and my Harrah's (which I chosen to specialize in. These chips are different to me because of the amount of time - AND MONEY - I have invested to acquire them.)
I feel people can "specialize" in anything they want (Scott Blackburn specializes in $5 chips) because when someone invests a significant amount of time in searching for, identifying, acquiring them, they achieve a higher degree of PERSONAL knowledge about them. I also think that a person specializes in certain chips (and this is applied to CHIPS, not medicine )- will gain knowledge that may benefit others. (happens all the time on the Board!)
That's MY interpretation... am not looking for a debate... just opinions!
