Aside from the burden on the volunteers, I also favor an expanded convention. I think this thread should be posted on the Club board tho hope also that it remains here or that periodically we get a link here to the Club board to remind people of the discussion. One of my complaints is that as a dealer, I have not been able to attend most of the events since I am busy setting up my booth--and also use the limited time before the show opens to the public to make rounds of other dealer tables. I assume that the show would have to open on a Tuesday if we expanded. There would be a substantial number of factors to consider including costs both to the Club, the volunteers and the dealers. I would like to see the "trading" session stay open during the convention itself--perhaps not for the full three days but at some times during the convention. Perhaps by spreading the panel and meetings over the day rather than at the beginning of each day or at 1 pm would help. But in any event, would like to hear from others...particularly the worker bees.
