Though I've never met any croupier from Great Britain who confirmed the US$ being used in a UK club, I have been told several times that it has not been used. In fact, I've been told by a former Director General of the BCA via a phone conversation that "using the American dollar in a British casino would be like spitting on the Queen."

Today I asked the Director General of the British Casino Association if he knows why we've seen chips from London in US$. I await his respnse.
