... I knew you (and others from Texas) could identify with the "Texas" stigma. I gueess we all do it without thinking... everyone in New York lives in New York City, everyone in Kansas lives on a Wheat farm. . . you know. It's funny we allow ourselves to expect that when we arrive. I have to say though we Texans do our share of 'conversions' . . . here is Neal King a NYFD Fireman (post-Yankee) being 'converted' before returning to New York . . . (Next a hat, then Levis. The NYC Accent? . . . Hopeless.)

Note: The Firemen were easier to convert than some of our Japanese speaking friends! Ever hear "YA'LL" with a Japanese accent?? hahaha
