Richard--thanks for asking. I am probably one of the closest. I live in San Antonio. Major Highways have been closed off and on. My work was cancelled for 3 days last week. Several people trying to cross 'low water' crossings (actually High Water crossings) have been swept away in San Antonio and drowned. Fortunately, other than some lost days at work, I have not suffered a bit. The TV and Newspapers are filled with tragic stories of loss of life, loss of pets, and loss of houses and material possessions. Sad time for this part of Texas.
