Why a casino would go through all the time and effort to design a chip to only have a mintage of 100 is beyond reasoning. 100 - $25 chips is only $2500 in potential revenue for the casino. It sure is not a marketing draw. Maybe some MBA in a suit figured out that if they ran out of chips a certain percentage of people left without getting a chip would drop their money in a slot machine or something of that nature.
