Peter; No, I don't have a better theory at all. That's what make it all the more perplexing. It would seem to me that the casino would be more interested in selling 300 chips at $25 each for an income of $7500 for the same amount of work ... (or even less work), than selling 100 $25 chips for an income of only $2500. Where's the marketing strategy there? The casino does not profit one cent from a chip they sold at a gaming table today at $25 that is re-sold by someone else tomorrow on Ebay for $200.
