I too am a collector. I'll admit that due to circumstances, I was able to purchase several of the $25 chips, so my personal collection is not affected and remains up to do date. However, I don't enjoy the thought of how my customers are going to receive the bad news. I would be very content to charge my usual $30 for a $25 chip ... and my customers would have been pleased to pay $30. Many dozens of customers are not going to be happy to discover that I am unable to provide this chip to all of them ... for which they have depended upon me for many years to keep them up to date. THAT Is my big disappointment with this Trump Marina fiasco. It's not about me... it's about A.C. collectors in general that are feeling the brunt of this latest un-needed controversy.

As for your comparison to TY and beanie babies. I don't think the rise or fall of Trump Marina Casinos is dependent upon their LE chip program as children's toys are to TY.
