There is more then one variation on this. As Michael already pointed out...the crown is taller.

I also see that the white color of the inlay appears brighter on the dark chip. Of course that could be scanner effect. You' d have to see if thats really the case.

I see the darker chip also has a richer color for the inlay as well.

As for the position of the inlay printing...you'd have to compare these to others in both light and dark variations to see if one of these is just an individual case.
