BriaN; Please read my post on where I'm coming from over this issue that I posted on the Atlantic City message board. If you were so benevolent ... YOU could have offered to come pick me up in Brick. We could have had a nice long chat on the 75 mile trip back down the Garden State Parkway.
I didn't find out that only 100 $25 chips were made until I got in line and the pit boss made his announcement... which is why I didn't arrive until 11:40 and there were already over 20 people in line ahead of me.
BriaN... it makes no difference to me as a New Issues chip dealer how many chips I'm able to get. I don't make the rules; I don't manufacture the chips; I don't place the order for the quantities to be made; I don't set the casino policy limits of "one per person".
It makes a great big difference to my customers from all over the country however how many chips I'm able to purchase. I would have liked to have gotten one $25 chip for ALL of my customers so that their price would have been $30 each ... not $185 on Ebay. Having said that, there are many, many people who were in line yesterday who are now waiting to see how much my customers are willing to pay tomorrow ... so they can set THEIR prices. "Who is feeding off of whom?"
Why not pin the blame on the real culprit in this controversy? We all know who he is. It's the same guy that Las Vegas collectors were happy to hear was leaving Vegas for A.C. Maybe his next career move should be to Foxwoods..., nobody gives a damn about LE's up there.
