Alan; First, I believe that you have to be a platinum card holder to be eligible. One needs to put 25 points on their slot card ... or play 4 rated hours on a table game in order to pick ONE chip in a sealed envelope. Bob Touts told me that he put $60 in a machine and only accumulated ONE POINT!
Players can go on-line to "trade" their duplicates ... but I'm told that there are two or three key chips that are particularly tough to obtain due to low numbers produced. There is an album available from the promotions desk to put all 26 chips in. There is also a tri-fold promotions brochure available at the promo booth which illustrates all the chips.
After the player's album is completed in Resorts computer, players are eligible for the grand prize drawing.
The big difference between this NCV program, and the 20th year anniversary NCV program ... is that Bob Mera was still alive five years ago, and Resorts employees were taking these NCV chips in bulk to his boardwalk store and trading them for "Bob's Bucks". Such is not the case this time around.
