Thanks For the link, Charles,
There are quite a few more in Oklahoma that are not listed. I'm working on a list. I believe Greg's list is current of those that do have chips. "Most" Oklahoma casinos are bingo halls with a few slot machines. The slot machines are Bing or pull tab based.
Bingo slots have the wheels fixed to the bingo card game results. Pull tab games read a bar code on the pull tab and display the results in a slot or video poker format.
Blackjack is played tournament style with the casinos collecting a commission with each hand in the daily “qualifying” games The “profits” are then paid back in various ways, but usually a tournament. This BJ games is just now starting to catch on as a way to beat the no class III game rules Oklahoma has.
Chips have been around in the past in Oklahoma. In the early 90s(??) Thunderbird was playing Bingo-Jack using Bingo “ping-pong” balls numbered to represent cards. Each table had it’s own hopper system. The state shut them down. I believe this is where the chips speed dice chips were first used.
I was told of another casino that used to games with chips. I have at least one chip coming. They were playing some game where you bet on which bingo tube filled up first. The commission also shut down this game a few years back.
I’ll try to get my list going in the next couple of weeks.
