That reminds me of a company for whom I once worked. We were accustomed to receiving cash Christmas bonuses each year. In fact, we counted on it. You can imagine our disgust when one year (without warning) we received turkey vouchers instead of cash.

We ate the turkey, but it left a bad taste in our mouths.
