I think a mountain is being made out of a mole hill here.....Nate asked Pat Lamb and I to start a Chapter......I agreed and Pat wanted to think about it. We had a bad experience at the Wednesday trade session....The doors were not scheduled to open until 11:00 am and everyone thought that 10:00 am was the opening time...plus there were a couple other minor problems...BUT everything worked out fine....My thoughts were that with a Chapter we could avoid all of this in future years....I have also noticed the gain in Silver Strike collecting since they started a Chapter.....Pat Lamb and I have resolved all the current problems or questions regarding the Chapter....She knows that PACK will continue the news letter and the Chapter will not compete with PACK...I am number 3 in PACK.....I am pretty sure we have things worked out...There was also some questions regarding trade session participants and dues...These too have been resolved.....The Slot Card and Room Key Chapter will only supplememnt what we already have....We hope all collectors will join us (already in three days of mail delivery we have 30 or so signed up, and not all Wheels in the Club). I collect slot cards and room keys because they are fun to collect....I see the Chapter as a benefit to us all...Everyone that joins before July 20, 2002 will be considered a Charter Member.....and can pick their membership number (a couple different choices is appreciated) I have already mentioned the benefits in earlier postings.....Thanks and I will look forward to you joining us....By the way Mike Robison is helping me with the membership area of the Chapter...thanks Mike..
