I am posting this offering on this Bulletin Board as opposed to the slot bulletin board because unless you are already a slot card collector, you would not see it on the other board.
If you are not as yet aware of the new trend in casino collecting, it is the slot card and room key craze. It is just growing by leap and bounds.
These plastic cards are beautiful and to top it off, are free of any cost if you happen to live near or are visiting any of the casinos that issue them. Within a very short time, one can accummulate enough duplicates to be able to trade with other collectors as we do in chips.
In any case, my purpose for this posting this is twofold. First is to introduce you to the world of slot card collecting at a very cheap cost and the second is to reduce my inventory of some common slot cards in order to make room for new ones.
I am selling these cards in packs of 10 for $5.00 each--including free postage. If you would like 5 packs (all different of course) then the cost is $25.00. These cards will only be of interest to new collectors but they are great starter sets.
If you find that the issuance of LE's are so ubiquitous that the cost is getting out of hand, you might consider slot cards.
Keep in mind we are still all chip collectors, members of the CC>CC and intend to continue being so, but are just branching off into slot cards and room keys as an adjunct. And to top it all off, it doesn't cost anything to join our little group.
In the short time I have been collecting cards, I have found it to be an obsession--just like chips were when I first started with them. The big difference is that cards are cheaper to collect (but some can demand high prices.)
You are welcome to join us on the Slot BB http://www.slotcardbbs.com/webbbs_config.pl?#4187 and see what this is all about.
