You may want to consider a lead-lined bag in which to put your film. This is usually protected from xrays. They will probably ask you to open the bag, but will be after it has gone through the xray in the bag. Hope that helps. BTW, you can also have the film developed in LV and just take the pictures home. I'm sure there are professional photography studios that will develop film if you don't want to give it to a drug store.
