I agree that they run the risk of frustrating collectors by raising the costs such that only a small percentage of the Hard Rock collectors can have a complete set. As I indicated in this post, there are only about 2 dozen people bidding on the $1000 chips. I know of one person that just gave up trying to collect HR up to $25's, but now then sold the $25's and are limiting their collection to the 5's.
