Hiya Donald, welcome to the hobby! I'm using regular binders. A D-ring style for easy turning and 1" because I'm concerned about the weight of full binders but I've seen many of the old hands using larger binders. I also use Cowens 20 pocket pages (CW20)that I get at Kelgory Coin & Currency supply: http://www.kelgory.com/coinpages.html These seem to be sturdy and won't pinch the chips as tightly as 30-chip pages.
This will at least get you started and you may find you like some of the other methods of keeping your chips under control.
