You point out why it is so important for those who are in our hobby to be members of the CC>CC. Dealing with Club members is one way to be reasonably sure that you are going to have a positive experience with trading or buying chips. It is not a guarantee, but dealing with Club members does provide some protection. And this is not to say that non Club members cannot provide an excellent experience. But, I am more cautious when dealing with those are not members. Remember that most of the reputable, honest chip collectors are in the club.
