I guess it just proves those right who say the majority of club members just want to have fun and don't care about the nuts and bolts of our club to get up off their chair and vote.

I could very well understand a low voter turnout in a general election being held on a workday in November (another thing that needs to be fixed ) where registered voters may not want to venture out into the cold or leave their place of employment/business, but what effort is there in opening one's magazine; mark the ballot; stuff it in the envelope provided, affix postage and drop it in the mail (certainly not the cost of postage, I would hope ).
