Gene, your goal is most laudable and I agree 100% with what you are attempting to do. But before you get too excited and get your hopes up, remember this; As Paul Gardner stated, only 400 members-- (approximately 13%) agree with our stance on slabbing.

If you will remember the last election, it was almost a shoe-in that Jim Reilly would be elected president. True, he was the pick of the board, but we all forgot the other members, (the estimated 80% or so) who are not on-line and through some smart and intense off line campaigning, lost the election by a large margin. I still have not met or ever heard of the current treasure before the election. I am sure he is a very nice individual but it will always remain a mystery to me how he got elected.

So try as you will, and as I said, I support your effort, but don't bet the pick slip on the outcome.
