My understanding is that you in violation of the Hobby Protection Act. A law that was designed to protect collectors from those who would produce phoney items that appear to be real. The Act requires that an indication is made on the item to show that it is not real. As far as I know, there is no mark on the item indicating that it is phoney. Is there? I doubt if anyone would prosecute you for a $50 item, but you never know.
There always seem to be a market for contraband. Just because there are some people who want this stuff, it doesn't make it right for you to sell it. There are lots of people who want illegal drugs, does that some how make it all right for anybody to sell it to them?
You may not want to join the CC>CC and that is good, because I doubt that they would let you join.
