While I do have reason to believe there is a 2nd "manufacturer" of these chips (and a 3rd ... and maybe more), I have no reason to believe this chip was made by any of them. It was my understanding that Bill got his "non-genuine" brass cores directly from David.
I will attempt to clarify this with either Bill or David.
