Why not just make it an extension of the Great Lakes chapter? It seems redundant.

Lets say Great Lakes meets four times a year, make the other months, meetings for Chicagoland members in the Chicago area, and invite everyone else.

Like a chapter in a chapter, without all the duplication of memberships, newsletter, and officers. (not to forget headaches!)
