There are a couple of chips I'm looking at in the club auction. I've never participated in a live auction before. I have a couple of questions:

When exactly do you settle up (pay and receive the lot)? Right after your lot finishes, or after all of the auctions are complete?

The catalog says that the auctioneer reserves the right to hold the lot until payments by check clear. That implies they they sometimes do and sometimes do not. Is there a general amount that determines this?

Does the Tropicana cash checks? If so, how large a fee do they charge?
