I just got word that the Governor Bush of Fl vetoed the high stakes card room bill for the Paramutials at 4:00pm today. The bill would have passed if all the card rooms would have agreed to limit their operations to 'when the dogs were
running' instead of year round operation the new proposal had allowed. After a phone conference, Flagler dog track refused to agree because other track that run year round would have a advantage.
