I would guess thier connection would not be very good. I have a LinkSys Wireless Access Point in my home. It's located on the top floor in the center of the house. When I'm in my driveway, the connection quality is poor. Probably because all the walls it has to go through/around. I guess if it was near that house and sticking out the window, it might work acceptable enough.

That would be awesome if someone setup an access point at the convention for members to use or a network hub to connect to.
