I guess the PO can really nickle and dime the postal charges. Your post brings up something else that sellers might want to consider. Especially when selling large sales to unfamiliar buyers. Request and pay for a signature and or scan when delivered and require that the item be delivered in person rather than left at the door. That way you have a record that the buyer received the item or a signature from the person who accepted delivery. You can forgo the return receipt part of it and just know that you can contact the PO if there is a problem and they will have a record to be able to track the package and confirm the delivery.
