Stevie recovered and everyone was glad because they all liked Stevie. His boss even gave him a raise he was now making almost minimum wage! The $10,000 dollars? Well, it's long gone now. The medical bills were just over $75,000 and the collection agency has now turned him over to some lawyers. Too bad Stevie couldn't afford medical insurance but he is working the bill down as best he can. Stevies Mom? She died two years ago, one of the cans of dog food she was eating was rancid, she got real sick and died a few days later.

All the truckers remember the day Stevie came back to work and collected the $10,000. They all still get that warm feeling inside when they think about it.
