Than using your Nazi quote, Im not french, Im not Polish, Im not Hungarian... Therefore I don't care....
When Pete just asked you,
Well then why don't you ever feel its appropriate to stand up for our fellow man who are management, or non-union people, or the owners of businesses.
You just said, Because I'm not......
management, or non-union people, or the owners of businesses.
Regards
I guess your fellow man has to stand up for you but you don't have to stand up for your fellow man. Or are managers, non union workers, and owners of businesses somehow not YOUR fellow man?
I would point out, I am not trying to be nasty but just pointing out that there is an obvious inconsistancy in your statements. As a person who is trained and talented in a traditionally union industry and living in a market that is one of the most strictly union markets in the country where politicians, for example, openly have run on the fact that they NEVER HIRE non union work, I can not find a valuable job in my preferred profession. Is that fair. I would point out that I am not against unions. There are some valuable aspects to them I have even worked in a couple jobs where I wished there was a union to back me up. I am just a believer in the fact that everyone should have a RIGHT to work in any job for which they are QUALIFIED. I do not believe that I, as a non union worker should be exempted or excluded from working in a job for which I am qualified. I just wonder why you would not feel any reason to stand up for a fellow worker (LABOR) just because he is not a member of a union or a small businessman just because he may not be labor.
