My point is the valueassociated with the scan is really the value associated with the chip. However in this case the ebay seller owns a Dunes chip. The scan by itself has little if any value. Now I'll agree with you that it is wrong that he swiped the scamn. My point is that the offense is so small that it is not worth making a big deal over it.
If I'm speaking with a person and a third person walks up and starts talking to the person I was talking to, I would expect that person to either introduce himself to me, excuse himself or in some way acknowledge that he is breaking into what was a private discussion. If he didn't, it would be wrong but I wouldn't make a case out of it.
