You don't even own the chip and you're bothered that someone else used your precious scan. How the heck are you adversely affected by this stolen chip scan anyway. I haven't quite figured that out.
I have over 2300 chip scans on my site. I dare say I have spent more time scanning than you and Randy put together. I'm in this as a hobby. I'm am glad to share any scan with anyone for ANY reason -- even if, god forbid, the scan is used to help sell a chip that isn't mine. Also, no more has to pay tribute and ask my permission.
BTW, have you asked the current owners of the chips on your site if they mind you displaying scans of THEIR chips? I realiaze that you "own" the scans but I think it's pretty sleazy showing scans of someone else's chips without their permission.
I know the owner of some chips on your site would rather that they not be there.
Lastly you said "it is ashame (sic) that some think this is petty". If it is not petty then explain the great adverse impact to you. If you are not harmed, than complaining is PETTY.
