Interestingly, this type of cross marketing -- for the hobby in general -- is one of the dieas I spoke to Mike Skelton about this past weekend. I think there are numerous opportunities for the club as a whole to exploit various cross-marketing opportunites. For example, perhaps the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame would be interested in assembling a collection of rock artists chips for a temporary display. Similarly, I'd like to see the club have a presence at generic Hard Rock collectors events to promote chip collecting to people who already collect pins. SUre, some Hard Rock pin collectors alreqady collect chips, but I'm sure there are many who don't. And I'm sure collectors of Playboy Memoribilia would be drawn to your incredible sets, the Hard Rock Playboys, and of course original Playboy Casino chips. Anyone exposed to chip collecting in these ways would be potential new collectors and new club members.

Mike seemed very receptive to these ideas, and i hope I'm able to work with him towards these types of projects in some small way when he's president.
