It's a wonderful feeling knowing that any club member can buy-sell-trade a slabbed chip at our convention if they so wish.

It would be an even more wonderful feeling if those who may wish to exhibit slabbed educational material at our convention were at least able to submit to the Exhibit Chairperson what all their exhibit entailed so it can be reviewed.... but, to firmly say no slabs will be exhibited is a backwards move by our board... and I can only hope our new board will consider "exceptions to the rule."

I fully agree that a showcase loaded down with either slabs or pictures of slabs without any descriptions as to why they're being exhibited serves no educational purpose.

I will continue to express my opinion on this issue whenever and wherever I feel it's appropriate to do so.
